I've been working on this panning tool for my own live performance practice. I wanted to be able to spatialize on 8 channel arrays. Currently it can handle anywhere from 2 to 8 channels and will update the visualization accordingly. I prefer to have copies of sounds processed and then sent through separate instances of MixUp. Each copy can then move around space independent of the others. You can also manually control the position and width in addition to the internal oscillator. I recently performed Will You Still Love Me At 63? using 16 channels with several MixUps separated into two elevation layers of 8 speakers each. The files can be downloaded here
