Oh my... Yeah this thing is a little sketchy. I had to take it out of my rack because it backfeeds current :( I never put a diode on the power line. It was also hanging out in an open portion of my rack unsecured. This prototype takes 8-bit values that are generated by some of the Xaoc modules via 10-pin cables. The modules do all the heavy lifting. Then all I need to do is power the logic chips. You can easily switch them out to NAND or something else. Also each chip is 4-bit so you can have different opperations for MSB and LSB. I think all the logic operations have a very similar sound. However, certain operations will result in true or false more than the other. This can be an issue for an audio signal sometimes. It was a bit of a pain soldering all those wires where they needed to go.
